This page sets out how the articles on this site are made. It applies to every article, so the notices below are not repeated on each one.
Who writes
The blog is written by Dan Strand, The Web Architect, and edited by the people who run NoTiesBuilder. They are responsible for everything it says.
Our interest
NoTiesBuilder sells, or will sell once it opens, website builds, and the blog is about building and owning a website. That is a commercial interest, and you should read what we write with it in mind.
- When an article mentions NoTiesBuilder or another product from The Web Architecture, it says so plainly.
- We do not accept payment for coverage, rankings or links. No article on this site is sponsored.
- When we describe other platforms, including competitors, the facts come from their own pricing pages and documentation, and we link to them so you can check.
- If an article ever contains a referral link that pays us, it will say so next to the link.
How we use AI
NoTiesBuilder itself will use AI, under your control, to help with the writing on your pages. We hold our own blog to the same rule. AI tools help us with research, outlines and proofreading. They do not decide what we publish. Every article is rewritten and edited by a person until it says what we mean, and every fact, price and figure is checked against its source before publication.
Sources and dates
Prices and features of other platforms change often. Where an article depends on them, it says when they were checked and links to the source. Every article shows the date it was last updated, and that date changes only when the content does.
Corrections
If you find a mistake, write to [email protected] with “Correction” in the subject line. We fix factual errors promptly, and when a correction changes the meaning of an article we say what changed at the end of it.
