NoTiesBuilder is a product of The Web Architecture (“we”, “us”). This policy covers this website, notiesbuilder.com, and the NoTiesBuilder app at app.notiesbuilder.com.
On this website
Email addresses you give us. If you subscribe to our emails, we store your address, the page where you signed up and the date, and use them only to send you what you signed up for.
Messages you send us. If you write to us, we keep your message and our reply so we can follow up.
Visit statistics. We measure visits with Umami, which does not use cookies and does not identify you. It records pages viewed, referring sites, device types and countries, in aggregate.
Technical logs. Our hosting provider records technical information about each request, such as the IP address and browser, to keep the site secure. These logs are kept for a limited time.
In the app
Your account. Your name, email address and sign-in details.
Your project. Your brief, your answers, your text and images, your choices of structure and design, and the site we build from them. We use this to build your site and to keep your project available to you.
Payments. Payments are handled by our payment processor. We receive confirmation of the payment and the details needed for invoicing; we do not see or store your full card number.
AI assistance. When you ask for help with the writing on a page, the relevant parts of your brief and your text are sent to the AI model provider we use to generate that text. If you choose no AI help, nothing is sent for that page.
Deployment. To deploy your site, the app uses the access you give it to your hosting account or WordPress installation, only for that purpose.
We do not sell personal data, share it for advertising or use it to build profiles.
Legal basis
Where data protection law requires one, we rely on the contract with you to run the app and build your site, on your consent for emails, which you can withdraw at any time, and on our legitimate interest in running and protecting our services.
How long we keep it
Account and project data are kept while your account exists. After a project is deployed it is archived, and you can download it at any time. Email subscriptions last until you unsubscribe. Payment records are kept for as long as tax law requires.
Who processes it
Our hosting providers, our payment processor, our email delivery provider and our AI model provider process data on our behalf, under contracts that limit them to providing their service.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct, export or delete your personal data, and withdraw consent at any time. Depending on where you live, including the European Union, the United Kingdom and California, you may have further rights under local law, and you can complain to your data protection authority. Write to [email protected]. We answer within 30 days.
Children
NoTiesBuilder is not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
Changes
If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top and announce significant changes on this page before they take effect.
